Installed at the edge of the VoIP operations center, EdgeProtect Series session border controllers secure critical VoIP and data infrastructure components such as VoIP softswitches, gateways and media servers.
They are also deployed in service provider peering applications to provide topology hiding, call quality monitoring and stateful packet inspection of voice and data traffic.

Designed for demanding environments the EdgeProtect 6400 offers 2 x 10/100/1000 ethernet interfaces and dual redundant, hot swap AC or DC power supplies.
