Phone Numbers

You can call the following VoIP numbers for free. From a softphone, just copy&paste the full SIP address (sip:user@domain.com).
From a hardware SIP adapter, copy&paste the full SIP address into your speed dial web page. All of these numbers worked in July 2011.

Dialling through ENUM


  • ENUM Test +43 720 0101011 This number is reachable only via ENUM+SIP. After connect you will hear the word "ENUM" followed by some music.
   
  • ENUM Test +43 720 0101012 This number is reachable only via ENUM+SIP. You get connected to Asterisk's Echo application.
   
  • ENUM Test +43 720 0101010 This number is reachable via PSTN and ENUM+SIP. If you get connected via ENUM you will hear the word "ENUM" followed by some music. If you connect via PSTN you will only hear some music.
      
  • ENUM Test +43 780 004711 This number is reachable via PSTN and ENUM+SIP. Both variants will be delivered to this Asterisk box via SIP. This test number is to test the reachability of Austrian's new '+43 780' numer range (ENUM based number range). After connect you will hear the word "ENUM" followed by some music.
   
  • ENUM Test +43 780 0047111 This number is reachable via PSTN and ENUM+SIP. Both variants will be delivered to this Asterisk box via SIP. This test number is to test the reachability of Austrian's new '+43 780' numer range (ENUM based number range). You get connected to Asterisk's Echo application. resolves to sip:enum-echo-test@sip.nemox.net
   
  • ENUM Test +43 780 0047112 This number is reachable via PSTN and ENUM+SIP. Both variants will be delivered to this Asterisk box via SIP. This test number is to test the reachability of Austrian's new '+43 780' numer range (ENUM based number range). You get ring-back indication for few seconds, and then you get busy indication (toll-free testing).

  • ENUM Test +43 780 0047113 This number is reachable via PSTN and ENUM+SIP. Both variants will be delivered to this Asterisk box via SIP. After pickup, you will hear a constant 1.000 Hz tone. You will hear tone interruptions if the clients's Jitter-Buffer can't handle the Jitter caused by your Internet connectivity.

Notes:
Please list only *open* VoIP phone numbers and Free VoIP Networks, meaning that you have successfully made a call to that number from a SIP proxy located in a different domain. Some numbers such as Vonage numbers can only be called for free from other Vonage phones, so Vonage is NOT open to calls from other SIP proxies.
